Job Title: Assistant Superintendent
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our construction team. The Assistant Superintendent will coordinate, plan, and supervise project field activities with foremen, superintendents, contractors and/or craft activities. The position will maintain liaison with other functions to ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.
Salary Range: $100,000 - 115,000/year depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of daily construction activities and site operations.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the Superintendent.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Assist in scheduling and planning of project timelines and resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily logs and reports.

Requirements
- Experience in large complex jobsites working with other General Commercial Contractors
- Must demonstrate emotional intelligence; being aware of the emotions of self and others
- Strong leadership, communication, problem solving, initiative, and teamwork
- Must be able to handle exposure to dirt, heat, water, noise, dust, vibration, and office environment
- Must be able to walk, stand, and sit
- Strong teamwork orientation
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and PROCORE
- High School diploma
- Valid driver’s license is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Four-year college degree preferred in one of the following: Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or equivalent preferred or equal experience
- Demonstrated resources for valuing and promoting diversity
