Job Description
At Sealed Air, we don’t just sell products, we partner with customers to design and deliver innovative, sustainable packaging and engineered solutions that protect goods, reduce waste, and create efficiencies across the supply chain. As an Integrated Fabricated Solutions, Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth within your territory by leveraging your experience in fabrication, packaging design, or engineered solutions to build meaningful partnerships and deliver tailored solutions. The role is remote but the ideal candidate will be in the Nashville, TN area covering the Mid-West.
What You’ll Do
- Engage Customers as a Trusted Advisor – Work directly with regular and prospective customers to understand their unique challenges, demonstrate solutions, and recommend products and services that create measurable value.
- Deliver Custom Solutions – Collaborate with engineering, design, and technical experts to develop tailored packaging and fabrication strategies that meet performance, sustainability, and cost goals.
- Drive Strategic Growth – Proactively identify and qualify opportunities by analyzing customer needs, market trends, and buying behaviors. Build and manage a robust pipeline to expand Sealed Air’s presence across key industries.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Partner with Customer Service, Portfolio, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate pricing, seamless project execution, and on-time delivery.
- Support Long-Term Success – Maintain strong post-sale relationships, resolving issues and providing technical insights to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Represent Sealed Air in the Market – Attend trade shows, customer visits, and industry events to build networks and uncover opportunities for growth.
- Leverage Distribution Partnerships – Drive growth by working through distribution channels and building strong relationships with distributor sellers to expand reach and uncover new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in packaging, engineering, fabrication, or related technical sales.
- 3+ years of sales experience in packaging, design/engineered solutions, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of solution-based selling, customer needs analysis, and delivering value-driven proposals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of reliability and accountability.
- Proficiency in business tools (CRM, MS Office, reporting tools) and comfort working across departments.
- A collaborative, customer-first mindset with the ability to influence and build trust.
- Willingness to travel within territory (up to 50%).
