S3, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst Logistician Specialist to support the PEO Aviation team on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
This position is contingent on award of contract.
The Utility Helicopters Project Office (UHPO) is responsible for the comprehensive life cycle management of the Army’s utility helicopter (UH) fleet. The UHPO manages multiple phases of acquisition, development, production, modification, recapitalization, sustainment, and foreign military sales for the UH 60 Black Hawk Helicopter. In addition, the UHPO is responsible for the acquisition and management of the Light Utility Helicopter (LUH). The UH 60 Black Hawk mission is to protect and sustain the force by providing air assault, general support, command and control, and aero-medical evacuation capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert analysis and support for Army Aviation logistics, maintenance, and supply chain operations, with a focus on systems used for the UH-60 (A/L/M/V), HH-60M Black Hawk, and UH-72 Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) fleets, and other utility aircraft.
Oversee and manage aviation maintenance management processes, ensuring compliance with Army aviation logistics standards and procedures.
Support the implementation and sustainment of automated information systems used in aviation logistics, with a focus on data standardization, equipment fielding, and training.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver quality results in a timely manner, ensuring seamless coordination of logistics operations.
Analyze, plan, and coordinate logistics activities, ensuring efficient operation of aviation maintenance and logistics systems.
Develop and maintain reports and documentation regarding the state of aviation systems, maintenance operations, and logistics processes.
Assist in the development and sustainment of system processes, tools, and documentation for Army aviation logistics.
Communicate effectively and professionally with various stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring clarity of logistics strategies and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Acquisition, Logistics, Business, Management, or related field.
Must have a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Army Aviation Logistics or Maintenance.
Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance required.
Knowledge of the H-60 and/or Lakota fleets, including the UH-60 (A/L/M/V) Black Hawk, HH-60M Black Hawk, and UH-72 Light Utility Helicopter (LUH).
Have experience with the Army aviation logistics and maintenance automation systems.
Have experience with the Army aviation logistics tools, processes, and documents.
Have experience supporting system sustainment efforts for Army aviation equipment and aircraft.
Proven experience in aviation maintenance management, supply chain management, automated information systems, and system sustainment.
Demonstrated ability to independently plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage assigned tasks to deliver quality results.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex logistics and aviation data.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as required for field operations and support activities.
Be proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
