What You’ll Be Doing:
The HRIS Integration & Application Dev Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and other internal/external systems, with a strong focus on leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This role will also lead efforts to implement automation solutions—such as Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) and chatbots—that enhance user experience and streamline HR processes.This individual will collaborate closely with HR and IT stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure seamless processes and flow of data across HR systems.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and other third-party/internal systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Configure and enhance Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) and other chatbot tools, including intent design and conversational flows.
- Customize Applications in HCM using Redwood tools.
- Implement employee-centric solutions using Oracle Redwood UI, Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA), and chatbot features.
- Streamline digital processes across HR platforms to enhance accessibility and usability.
- Identify opportunities for automation in HR operations using AI-driven tools and integrations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations and automation solutions.
- Partner with HR, IT, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay current with HR technology and integration trends; propose new tools and automation approaches.
- Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need to Thrive:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing and designing Oracle HCM Cloud Integrations, preferably using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- 1-2 years of customizing and designing in Redwood Applications.
- Practical experience developing or supporting chatbot/AI solutions such as Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA), including intent design and conversational flow building.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system integration issues in HRIS or enterprise systems.
- Strong communication skills: able to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical HR and business partners.
- Strong organizational skills: able to manage multiple priorities, document processes thoroughly, and deliver on deadlines.
- Demonstrated collaboration: comfortable working cross-functionally with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability: proactive in identifying risks, recommending solutions, and driving process improvements.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and accountability.
Certifications:
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Certification
- Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation Certification (one or more modules)
- Highly Preferred: Oracle Redwood Application Developer Certification
- Highly Preferred: Oracle Visual Builder Studio Certification
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 / year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary annual target bonus is provided.
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
Work Environment: This position is 100% remote (work from home) in a market/state where the Company currently operates its business.
