With our head office in Basingstoke, delivery office in Leamington Spa, and satellite offices throughout the UK, we're transforming how the public sector delivers services.

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior AI Developer to join our Engineering team.

This role is primarily delivery-focused, with responsibility for building, testing, and deploying innovative AI-first solutions across both product and client projects. You’ll work under the guidance of Lead Developers and the Development Manager, contributing to back-end development, AI feature integration, and quality assurance, while occasionally supporting front-end tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with strong .NET and Azure expertise who wants to apply their skills to Generative AI, LLMs, and Microsoft technologies within real-world transformation projects in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned development tasks and user stories within project backlogs
  • Undertake back-end development in .NET, C#, and Azure to required standards
  • Contribute to front-end development using REACT / TypeScript where required
  • Implement and configure AI features including LLMs, RAG, and related frameworks
  • Support the setup and use of DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices in Azure
  • Conduct unit testing and contribute to QA activities to ensure delivery quality
  • Assist in debugging and resolution of issues across development, UAT, and production environments
  • Produce technical documentation, handover notes, and deployment artefacts
  • Work collaboratively with Lead Developers, Architects, and Project Managers on solution delivery
  • Stay informed on emerging AI and Microsoft technologies to support continuous improvement

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4–6 years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET
  • Strong experience delivering solutions in Azure cloud environments
  • Exposure to Generative AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI) and their practical applications
  • Experience supporting QA, debugging, and deployments across environments
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to contribute effectively within Agile teams
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Professional certifications in Azure or .NET

What We Offer

  • Flexible and remote working options.
  • Enhanced pension scheme (5% employer contribution).
  • 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
  • £1,200 annual work-from-home allowance.
  • Private healthcare package (Vitality).

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role.
