People & Culture Department Administrator (onsite) – Plano, TX

Want a seat at our table?  The People & Culture Department Administrator will support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, retention, and offboarding. This role will help foster a positive employee experience, ensure smooth department operations, and strengthen our people-first culture.

 



The Main Course – Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the People & Culture team including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
  • Manage and maintain our HRIS (BambooHR), ensuring accurate employee records, timely updates, and reports.
  • Provide onboarding support for new hires and offboarding assistance for departing employees
  • Coordinate pre-employment steps, including background checks, reference checks, and offers
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the People & Culture department as needed
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, culture events, and recognition programs


What You Bring to the Table – Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of administrative, HR, or office management experience (Bamboo HRIS experience is a plus)
  • Positive, approachable, and team-oriented with a passion for supporting people and culture initiatives.
  • Strong organizational & time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to learn systems quickly.
