Position Overview
Lead transformational technology initiatives as our Director of Revenue Cycle Applications and Enterprise Integration/Interoperability. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for technology solutions that drive revenue cycle efficiency, accuracy, and interoperability across the health system. You'll oversee the implementation, optimization, and integration of enterprise applications—including Epic modules (HB, PB, Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, HIM)—while ensuring seamless data exchange within the organization between Epic and disparate systems, devices and external partners.
The Director will collaborate with revenue cycle leadership, IT, clinical operations, and external vendors to optimize workflows, enhance patient access and financial performance, and support organizational goals of quality, compliance, and sustainability.
What You'll Drive
Strategic Leadership
- Develop technology roadmaps for Epic revenue cycle applications (HB, PB, Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, HIM) and interoperability initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams of managers, analysts, and application architects
- Partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Clinical, and IT leadership to align technology with organizational objectives
Operational Excellence
- Manage end-to-end system lifecycle for Epic revenue cycle and patient access modules
- Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission) and audit readiness
- Architect integration solutions using HL7, FHIR APIs, HIE connectivity, and data exchange protocols
- Resolve complex system challenges impacting revenue capture, billing, and collections
Performance & Innovation
- Establish governance frameworks and stakeholder engagement processes
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and third-party contracts
- Implement performance dashboards and KPIs for financial and operational outcomes
- Monitor emerging healthcare technologies and industry best practices
What You Bring
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Epic certification(s) in revenue cycle modules preferred
- Epic Gallery experience preferred
Experience
- 8-10+ years progressive healthcare IT experience with 3-5 years in leadership roles
- Proven Epic revenue cycle expertise across patient access modules
- Deep interoperability knowledge (HL7, FHIR, APIs, integration engines)
- Track record of successful Epic implementations and optimization projects

- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Proven ability to build high-performing teams and develop talent
