Here is what you will need:
- Minimum of three to five years of healthcare industry experience required;
- Minimum of 1 year Supervisory experience preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Assistant Center Director:
- Provide services and support for the following areas:
- Operations:
Manages patient flow and communicates wait times to patients.
Assists the Center Director in overseeing daily operations of the center to include front desk, technologists, clinical assistants, nurses, medical records, and other roles within the center.
Assumes CD daily activities when CD is unavailable
Effectively handles patient complaints and escalates as appropriate, as evidenced by patient survey scores;
Assists Center Director in managing the Penrad case management process
Reviews the delinquent exam report each month and ensures communication to specified patients;
Assist Center Director in creating and managing center team member work schedules.
Approve and correct time management entries in payroll system
Assist Center Director in communication to team during huddles, meetings and one on one discussions.
Participates in performance review process
Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures;
Ensures center has equipment and supplies needed to meet patient demands;
Communicates procedures and provides education to patients on an as needed basis involving a clinical team member as needed;
Organizes electronic communications and maintains documents for easy and efficient retrieval;
- Sales and Profit:
- Center meets or exceeds labor target;
- Center maintains adequate supply par levels; meets or exceeds medical supplies budget;
- Center meets or exceeds revenue and procedure target;
- Center meets or exceeds profitability target;
- Center meets or exceeds patient care goals;
- Center meets or exceeds turnaround time and cost for procedures;
- Reviews and analyzes monthly P&L and develops plans to impact areas of opportunity.
- Team:
- Works with the Center Director to monitor staffing levels and ensures appropriate coverage relative to patient volumes and budget;
- Partners with Center Director to oversee the human resource management functions at the center, ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, guidelines and procedures;
- Notifies Center Director immediately and sends critical documentation (EEO charges, garnishments, legal documents) to HR within 24 hours of receipt and follows up accordingly;
- Creates and maintains frequent communication and positive relationships with team members as evidenced by surveys and turnover;
- Oversees time and attendance and verifies punches, lunches, etc. in payroll system and reviews payroll data prior to submitting to payroll department;
- Assists the Center Director in review of candidates in applicant tracking system and determines next steps to include, reviewing applications, releasing candidates, scheduling interviews, etc. on a weekly basis;
- Assists the Center Director in conducting interviews and making job offers;
- Facilitates orientation for all new team members;
- Uses new hire orientation PowerPoint on the first day of employment for all new hires as evidenced through new hire checklist agenda;
- Communicates significant disciplinary coaching and counseling opportunities to direct manager;
- Assists Center Director in preparing and delivering performance evaluation discussions on a 90 day and ongoing basis;
- Meets with direct manager on a weekly basis to review center activities and needs
- Assists Center Director with team meetings on monthly basis to review center activities, build comradery and solicit feedback.
