A Quality Analyst is a highly energetic and motivated individual who will be responsible for meeting the requirement, expectations, and needs of the customer and ensuring all printed orders and customer inventory are defect-free by performing a detailed audit on all orders Level 2 and above. This role will use a ruler to ensure that the accuracy of the desired size per customer request has been met, while also using a scale to aid in weighing/counting products. To be successful in this role you will need to be goal-oriented, organized, show attention to detail, and have the ability to perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination as well as dexterity.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and comprehend the job instructions (QA Checklist), which may include: general instruction, special Instructions, and change orders
- Perform HIGHLY DETAILED quality checks on orders Level 2 and above
- Input data as needed on an excel sheet
- Random audits to be performed throughout the production floor
- Meet or exceed production goals set by the management team
- Ensure adherence to all documented processes and procedures
- Check to ensure that the documents and customer inventory is in its proper location as indicated in Production Workflow Tool (PWT)
- Make decisions on the pass/fail for documents, within tolerance, prior to shipping to customers
- Others duties as assigned
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be dependable, flexible and have the ability to work overtime with little or no notice (required)
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a quality position (required)
- Entry-level computer experience (required)
- Ability to enter data in an Excel spreadsheet (required)
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to read a ruler (required)
- Patience and focus with high attention to detail (required)
- Able to manage time efficiently to meet hourly goals (required)
- Ability to differentiate between different paper stocks (preferred)
