Account Manager
Job Summary:
Our client in Auburn Hills, MI is looking for an Account Manager. This is a Direct Hire position.
Position Overview:
· As a Account Manager, you will play a key role in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while nurturing long-term relationships with clients. You will be expected to leverage your proven track record in software sales to achieve ambitious targets and help expand our footprint in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify, qualify, and close new software sales opportunities to meet and exceed annual revenue goals.
· Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
· Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through consultative selling techniques.
· Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals tailored to client needs.
· Negotiate contract terms and pricing, navigating complex sales cycles to successful close.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
· Keep accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
· Minimum of 7 years of proven success in B2B software sales.
· Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding $1 million+ in annual ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) sales.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Ability to manage long sales cycles and close high-value deals.
· Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented, with a passion for helping clients succeed.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
