SUMMARY: Responsible for driving a designated route to load and/or unload fuel safely and timely. Depending on the assigned route, may work remotely for four nights/five days.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive a commercial motor vehicle which requires a Class A Commercial Driver’s License and a Hazardous Materials endorsement.
- Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicles at varying speeds in difficult situations such as heavy traffic, inclement weather and in or out of tight areas.
- Transport fuel in a timely and safe manner from load racks to retail and customer sites.
- Properly manage daily pre-trip and post-trip for the assigned vehicle.
- Submit daily record of duty status (HOS) via ELD mileage records and other records per DOT requirements.
- Properly upload paperwork into dispatch system.
- Maintain daily communication with driver supervisor and dispatcher.
- Maintain proper material and supplies for assigned vehicle.
- Attend monthly and/or annual assigned training.
- Properly interact with customers.
- Maintain proper PPE at all times, both in the truck and out of the truck.
