JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing the Apriva Gateway product suite combining feedback from sales, marketing, operations, development, customers, and prospects. This position will oversee the implementation of new features & products, gathering & prioritizing product & customer requirements, and working closely with development to continue to deliver new and enhanced products and services. These programs require expertise in technical, financial and administrative areas to drive growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
· Manage the suite of Apriva Gateway offerings, including payment processing components, APIS and EMV Certifications to payment processors.
· Develop and drive the product roadmap for Apriva Gateway.
· Product Owner for Agile Scrum product team. Structures, prioritizes and manages the product backlog based upon the needs of the business, partners and market demands.
· Maintain detailed understanding of all aspects of Apriva’s Gateway solutions.
· Assist the Support Teams as needed to troubleshoot issues within the Apriva Gateway.
· Acquire product knowledge and related skills by assuming additional responsibilities as requested
· Continuously improve communications, analytical, and learning skills
· Gather and analyze feedback from sales, marketing, operations and partners/prospects to help steer the strategic vision for products and development of new Gateway products.
· Work closely with operations to create and improve internal processes to support Gateway product strategy, roadmaps, and customer priorities.
· Develop requirements documents and user stories for all requested features.
· Monitor the status of development projects.
· Responsible for relationships with leadership team and communicating status and issues regularly.
· Plans programs or work packages up front by leading the estimation efforts with the sales organization and coordinating technical evaluations.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· BS degree required – Computer Science, Engineering or Business or related technical field desired.
· Minimum 4 years of experience in product development; payment industry experience a plus.
· Experience in project management a plus.
· Proven track record of product development, implementation & management.
· Experience with agile development processes and monthly or weekly product release cycles.
· Experience with SQL a plus.
· Demonstrated leadership with analytical abilities, communication skills, technical savvy, problem solving and teamwork.
· Self-motivated with the discipline necessary to manage complex programs with teams, must have been part of multiple, full project lifecycles and have been in a client facing role.
· Experience managing multiple programs and /or projects simultaneously.
· Strong and effective oral and written communications skills.
· Strong and effective interpersonal skills within a diverse group of clients and staff.

· Natural ability to relate to customers and prospects.
· Ability to work with different people across a team effectively.
· Aptitude to work in a fast paced and highly volatile environment.
· Ability to travel up to 20%.
