Job Description:

We are seeking reliable and adaptable Elementary School Daily Substitute Teacher - MUSIC to join our team. The ideal candidates will effectively manage classroom environments, implement lesson plans, and maintain continuity of instruction during the absence of regular classroom teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure consistent instruction. 

• Maintain classroom management and discipline in accordance with school policies. 

• Adapt to various teaching assignments and grade levels as needed. 

• Communicate any pertinent information or feedback to school administrators.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. 

• Experience: Music experience required. Prior experience in a classroom setting or working with children is advantageous. 

• Skills: Strong classroom management abilities, effective communication skills, and adaptability to different educational environments.

Additional Requirements:

• Background check and fingerprinting as required by Massachusetts regulations.

• Completion of any required training or certifications upon hire, including first aid, CPR, and behavior management training.
