Java/J2EE Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop: Development and maintenance of Java/J2EE based applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud based services, NetflixOSS (Netflix Stack).
  • Code: Coding and debugging.
  • Document: Produce and maintain well-documented code.
  • Track: Issue tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop: Development of DB layer using ORM.
  • Test: Perform unit testing.
  • Document: Documentation of high-level, low-level design, source code, and unit tests.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Technical Skills: Strong programming and object-oriented skills.
  • Experience:

    • Java/J2EE
    • Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
    • Web services development (REST)
    • Database concepts (Postgres)
    • NetflixOSS (Netflix Stack)
    • ORM tool (Hibernate)
    • JSON (create, parse, update)
    • XML Schema parsing and validation
    • Elastic Search and Kibana
  • Logical and Analytical Ability: Good logical and analytical ability.

Desired Skills:

  • Build Tools: Good knowledge of build tools like Maven, Ant.
  • Version Control: Good knowledge of SW-version tools like SVN, GIT.
  • Frameworks: Experience in MVC based framework and unit testing.
  • Agile: Proven ability working in Agile Scrum environment.
  • Frontend: Experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax is a plus.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Additional certifications (if any): Agile, DevOps, etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

  • Domain knowledge in automotive engineering or related fields.
  • Exposure to international projects and global stakeholder management.
  • Experience with Daimler systems or similar global platforms.
