Summary of Position |
The IT Technician will have a depth knowledge of computer hardware, with hands on experience in software and internet applications, wired and wireless networks, operating systems, and printer hardware. The IT Technician will model behaviors consistent with the published values and the Code of Conduct of RCCHC.

Minimum Qualifications |

- In depth knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Certification as IT Technician preferred

- Must be able to speak and communicate clearly and effectively
Education: Associates degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience: Two or more years of experience in information technology
Certification(s)/Licensure: Certification as IT Technician preferred
Knowledge:
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s) in regard to the Federal 330 Public Health Service Act
- Knowledge of thorough understanding of the 340B program
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications.

Essential Functions |
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading PC hardware and software components
- Provide IT support to users and act as the first point of contact for help desk support
- Establish a good relationship with all departments and colleagues
- Troubleshoot IT equipment related issues
- Check and maintain computer and printer hardware
- Install, configure, and manage software and their functions according to RCCHC specifications
- Maintain wired and wireless network equipment
- Install data hardware and cabling
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes
- Maintain hardware and software inventory
- Maintain compliance with workflows, policies and procedures as well as other activities to support PCMH model of care and accreditation
