JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to identify needs and define business objectives
- Obtain, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers
2. Business Process Improvement
- Analyze existing processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities for automation
- Design future-state processes and help stakeholders visualize improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals
3. Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and vendors
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels (end-users, department heads, executives)
- Manage expectations and build consensus among cross-functional teams
4. Solution Design Support
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs
- Participate in UI/UX discussions, workflow design and wireframes review
5. Testing and Quality Assurance
- Develop or review test plans, test cases, and UAT scripts
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users
- Validate that solutions meet business requirements and are fit for purpose
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Create and maintain detailed documentation (e.g., BRD, FSD, user guides, process flows)
- Generate reports or dashboards to track key business or project metrics
- Ensure that project documentation is up to date and stored appropriately
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience
- Minimal bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or similar preferred
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
- Comfortable working with databases, APIs, enterprises applications, and reporting tools
- Proven ability to work with senior business users, developers, QA, and project managers
- Experience mentoring junior BAs or leading analysis efforts on cross-functional initiatives
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, Asana) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP Crystal Report and Jasper Report will be added advantage
