The ideal candidate will have familiarity with basic inventory control procedures, be extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

PAY RANGE: $22/HR - $26/HR


SUMMARY:  

The Inventory Control Clerk will maintain the organizations inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintain accurate records of all transactions. 

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials, supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains accurate records of received and distributed items.
  • Inspect deliveries for discrepancies and resolve any issues with suppliers.
  • Compares information on requisitions, invoices and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of order
  • Completes regular audits and counts of inventory, reporting and resolving discrepancies; assist with period physical inventory audits.
  • Prepares requests for procurement of materials
  • May mark identifying information on material.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Operates forklift truck when necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum 1-year previous experience in same or similar position
  • Knowledge of materials and hardware handling.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
  • Ability to complete basic math calculations
  • Able to work with the Microsoft Office suite of software including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Epicor or other ERP plus.
  • Experience in Forklift operations and ability to be certified as a Karman driver a must

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   

  • Must be able to navigate all areas of the facility, and reach things both high and low
  • Constant standing/walking/sitting for at least 8 hours
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs., minimum 25 lbs.
  • Occasional ascending and descending stairs/ramps
  • Ability to use and operate a forklift

WORK ENVIRONMENT:   

  • This position operates in a warehouse/shop/manufacturing environment 

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Minimal travel may be required for this position
