Location: North Seattle

Reports to: Team Lead, Member Engagement Services

Salary Range: $24/hour

Position Overview

As a Safety Team Member, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for members, staff, and visitors at our clinic location. This role combines safety, member engagement, and operational support, ensuring that everyone can thrive in a safe space. You’ll use your skills to de-escalate challenging situations, promote health and safety standards, and contribute to our mission of delivering compassionate, member-centered care.

 

What You’ll Do

🌟 Member Support & Safety Oversight

  • Conduct routine patrols of clinic buildings, parking lots, and grounds to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist in de-escalating situations involving individuals displaying unusual or aggressive behavior using your conflict resolution and de-escalation training.
  • Monitor and enforce social distancing and safety guidelines to promote health and wellness within the clinic.

🚗 Operational Support

  • Transport members to and from the clinic as needed using company vehicles.
  • Assist with medication delivery routes for active members when necessary.
  • Support clinic operations by receiving packages, collecting mail, and overseeing deliveries.

📋 Administrative & Security Tasks

  • Conduct surveillance of clinic property and assist in retrieving video footage for authorized staff during incidents.
  • Maintain clean and organized waiting areas, ensuring sanitizing stations are fully stocked and functional.
  • Complete incident reports and ensure accurate documentation of safety-related activities.

 

What You’ll Bring

🎓 Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • One (1) year of customer service experience in healthcare setting preferred.
  •  

🌟 Skills & Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a diverse member population.
  • Quick thinker with the ability to react calmly and effectively in dynamic situations.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation training (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

💪 Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, or drive for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry 10–50 lbs. as needed.
  • Physically fit to perform foot patrols and maintain visibility throughout clinic grounds.
