As a Total Rewards Assistant, you will be responsible for providing overall support for Total Rewards programs and project work.

  • You will collaborate with Total Rewards program manager, Human Resources (HR) communications and other stakeholders to plan, create and distribute internal communication campaigns and materials. 
  • You will monitor page visits, plan updates and changes and create and maintain document version repository.
  • You will create time reporting templates and send them to employees approved for leave. You will also communicate instructions to managers for updating HCM with employee leave information and audit leave submission.
  • You will provide additional clerical/administrative work to support leave administration as requested. You will also serve as a backup resource for employee/manager questions about leaves.
  • You will run reports and generate electronic files to support the program.
  • You will review and assist with responses to vendors, employees, retirees, and other 3rd parties. You will also assist with gathering materials for public disclosure requests.
  • You will perform clerical or administrative work as assigned to assist with program administration, including planning and coordinating meetings, events, classes and information sessions for employees or others, setting up conference rooms, arranging materials for sessions, etc.
  • You will organize, schedule, track and prepare materials for project teams or focus group meetings. You will also manage project data and perform minor research and/or analysis.

  • Work Schedule – Your normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week).
  • Work Environment - This work will take place in a hybrid/in-office setting at Management’s discretion.
  • Washington State Residency Requirement – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.
  • Overtime Eligible You are eligible for overtime pay in this role.
