Responsible for operating and maintaining oil conditioning machinery, testing and verifying oil quality, and ensuring lab equipment is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor oil conditioning systems and lab equipment
 • Test oil samples approximately four times per shift
 • Log and manage data in Microsoft Excel sheets related to oil conditioning and production
 • Maintain lab cleanliness and equipment (e.g., titrators, oil testers)
 • Communicate oil processing status with production and engineering teams
 • Build experience to support new oil conditioning processing areas
 • Assist in qualifying new equipment and processes (e.g., new oil conditioning systems, oil sensors)
 • Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
 • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and quality goals
 • Troubleshoot and align functions when oil quality or processing issues arise 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Job Prerequisites:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be a self-starter capable of working independently while also contributing effectively to a team and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education Requirements:
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical/Mental Requirements:
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data logging and Outlook for effective email communication.
Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand; frequently required to walk, use hands, reach, and communicate. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
