About the Department
The purpose of this class is to provide customer service to students and the college community in relation to registration and other enrollment related services.
Position Duties
High School diploma/GED and three years of clerical experience to include data entry, working in an office environment, preferably a business which is customer service related. Or an Associate's Degree and one year of relevant identical experience. Experience working in a Registrar’s Office, Admissions, Financial Aid or with Student/Accounts preferred. Experience working in Higher Education preferred. Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office software, information systems preferably Banner and document imaging. Must be able to work some evenings and occasional weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Provide day-to-day processing of enrollment-related paperwork.
2. Resolve and troubleshoot problems in daily processing of service requests related to areas including enrollment and course selection.
3. Process, prepare and validate student documents relating to all aspects of the enrollment process to include scanning and indexing of daily transactions.
4. Handle inquiries from internal and external sources to facilitate efficient office operations.
5. Verify student records. Research and resolve discrepancies.
Other Qualifications
- Primary person responsible for processing emails through the Registrar’s email platform from students and the college community.
- Assist the Registrar’s management team with daily processing of updates to residency rates, academic action changes, and documenting cases in SGASTDN and the CRM.
- Process CCBC holds, i.e. Athletic, ACDV, Online, Holistic Success, etc. to document action or facilitate enrollment.
- Prepare, verify, and scan/index all enrollment related documents received in the Registrar’s office.
- Back up for Registrar’s office inbound calls unit. Conduct research for the Registrar management team to assist in resolving student appeals and other escalated student issues.
