Position Responsibilities:

Direct all aspects of administration, staff management and internal guest interaction with regards to the following operational departments: Ski & Snowboard School, Canopy Adventure, Bike Park Guides, Adventure Center, and Nursery. Oversee all operations of the following departments: Ski School, Canopy Adventure, Bike Park Guides, Nursery, and Adventure Center. Explain and enforce safety protocols, rules, and regulations. Participate in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives. Control wage/expense to revenue ratios and operational configuration. Monitor all aspects of revenue generation to meet or exceed budget expectations. Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals. Participate in all necessary training clinics and events to maintain current and up to date PSIA/AASI and PMBIA certification including coordinating, communicating and complying with all regulatory boards. Train staff on company policies and procedures related to their roles. Manage subordinate managers and supervisors. Responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating these units. Human capital management responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Position Requirements:

Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have five years of experience with: (1) human capital management including interviewing, hiring, performance management, coaching, promotions, and terminations; (2)  analyzing data to provide workable business operations solutions; (3) Microsoft  Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word; (4)  reviewing analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data and translating results of analysis and metrics into actionable insights; and (5) formulating and administering company policies.

MISC REQUIREMENTS: TSG Ski and Golf, LLC dba Telluride Ski and Golf is a resort that conducts business 7 days a week, including holidays. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES: PSIA/AASI Level III Ski Instructor Certification required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (1) Work may be performed at elevations of 10,000 feet or higher and in outside weather conditions. Worker must be able to function at elevations of 10,000 feet or higher and in inclement weather conditions. (2) Must be able to lift items up to 50 lbs without assistance.
