Children’s Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 60 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. The Wellness & Administrative Coordinator assists with the day-to-day operations of the employee wellness program and provides administrative support to the Human Resources department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Wellness, Health Promotion & Behavior or related discipline required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive administrative experience required. 
  • Proven attention to detail, organizational skills and follow-through discipline.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must possess a high level of confidentiality and accountability. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively assist with company employee wellness program including challenges, employee engagement, employee requirements and incentives, and provide input into design and structure of the program. 
  • Assist with wellness social media site and wellness intranet page. 
  • Lead/Co-Lead and coordinate regular wellness committee meetings.
  • Coordinate wellness activities and events, including seminars, workshops, and retreats.  
  • Act as a liaison in the company to gather ideas, boost participation and sustain interest in the wellness program. 
  • Provide educational resources and information to support employees and their wellness goals. 
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal team members and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of wellness initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the wellness initiatives and make recommendations, offer insights, and suggestions for improvement.  
  • Provide administrative support for the Human Resources department, assisting with projects, coordinating tasks, timelines and resources as needed.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
