Your Impact
BOTE® paddle board company is seeking a Key Account Manager! As a Key Account Manager at BOTE, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our National Retail Partners. You will work closely with our retail customer to understand the needs of their business, develop strategies to help them grow that align with overall BOTE initiatives, and provide exceptional service to our buyers. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales expertise, technical proficiency and excellent communication skills. This role will report into the Director of Sales, B2B.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key National Retailers.
- Understand client needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Ensure client satisfaction with our products and services.
- Work directly with our Key Account Specialist to ensure fullfilment rates of 100% for in-stock product.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions to clients.
- Monitor and analyze account performance and develop plans to improve performance.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
- Prepare and present reports on account performance to senior management and relevant internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
- Present digitally and in person before small to Medium sized groups.
- Train Retailers staff on BOTE’s Products and how to sell them effectively
What You’ve Accomplished
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales.
- Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Strong familiarity with Large National Chain fulfillment operations.
- Ability to interpret performance data and translate it into action or call to action for retailers
- Experience in omnichannel environments, preferably in water sports, lifestyle, or consumer goods
