Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Advanced Replacement (AR) Service Technician to join our HTCC service operations team. Although this role is officially hired through a staffing agency, it is structured and operated nearly identically to a permanent HVA position, with strong potential for long-term, stable employment.
The AR Service Technician will handle all advanced replacement requests, manage returns of defective units, and support repair operations. Candidates with experience in electronics repair, particularly PCB-level soldering on individual components, are strongly preferred. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a professional service environment and work alongside experienced technical staff.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Replacement Operations
• Create UPS shipping labels and process AR requests daily.
• Receive, inspect, and document defective units returned from customers.
• Manage AR stock inventory and place replenishment orders as needed.
• Coordinate system-based cost charging and reporting for AR products.
Repair & Technical Support
• Perform basic technical inspection of returned units.
• Support repair technicians with diagnosis and component replacement.
• Apply soldering skills at the PCB/component level when required.
Customer Service & Coordination
• Communicate with customers to provide ETAs and updates.
• Collaborate closely with service admin staff and technicians to ensure timely AR fulfillment.
• Support escalation cases requiring expedited processing.
Expense & Reporting
• Track AR-related expenses and management report.
• Ensure process accuracy through HVA’s SAP/ERP system.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Proficiency in SAP, ERP, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English preferred.
• Electronics repair background with PCB soldering experience strongly desired.
