Roles and Responsibilities
- Follow and enforce all environmental health and safety procedures and report all near misses, incidents, and hazards. Constantly promote our safety always culture to our employees.
- Manages production personnel, with assistance from Plant Manager
- Manages all production timecards
- Discipline employees when appropriate
- Ensuring Factory Housekeeping
- Ensure that due dates for shop orders are maintained and met
- Schedule employees and workload with highest utilization of equipment giving maximum efficiencies
- Works closely with quality control department to ensure batches meet customer specifications
- Support quality policy
- Assist production supervisors with efficiencies throughout daily job tasks
- Assist any type of troubleshooting in manufacturing
- Assist Plant Manager
- Make necessary adjustments to manufacturing processes
- Ensure batch Yield is above 88% Medium Batch and 93% Large Batch
- Maintains Sieves, gaskets, gaylord, supersack, and baghouse bag inventory
- Assists Master Scheduler in maintaining schedule
Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft office/outlook.
- 5 years’ experience as manager or similar relevant position required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
