This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base.
Essential Functions
- Lead and manage the Centralized Telemetry Processing System (CTPS), Telemetry Analog Equipment Room (TAER), and Simulation Center work centers
- Encourage the sharing of knowledge and expertise between Telemetry Control and Display systems, Telemetry Instrumentation sites, and Mission Operations personnel
- Act as the Telemetry Control and Display (C&D) Subject Matter Expert as needed.
- Help lead the review and update of processes and procedures to include operational configuration and validation checklists
- Assist employees with problem resolution, interpretation of company policies, hold site safety meetings, and enforce safety regulations
- Ensure mission equipment is properly maintained in accordance with applicable manuals, technical orders, and procedures
- Ensure adequate operational spares, supplies and consumables are on hand to support O&M tasks and objectives
- Oversee training to ensure qualified personnel are available to support scheduled operations in accordance with the Operations and Maintenance Enterprise Qualification Program (EQP)
- Oversee the setup and operation of mission equipment to ensure all requirements are satisfied according to mission documentation
- Monitor personnel and system performance during operations to ensure status reporting is accomplished
- Facilitate expeditious resolution of anomalies that occur during launch operations
- Continually assess system capability with regard to emerging customer requirements and develop Requirement Statements when necessary to ensure future mission success
- Participate in engineering project design reviews, project integration, and operational acceptance testing to help ensure quality product deliveries
- Meet department productivity and quality goals
- Chair meetings to coordinate section activities
- Participate in quality reviews for mission planning documentation
- Vigorously pursue initiatives to improve the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of LISC enterprise solutions, products, or services
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Eight (8) years of telemetry or related systems experience to include at least five (5) or more years of prior supervisory or management experience as a telemetry manager and/or supervisor of CTPS and TAER sections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
- Working knowledge of the capabilities and interconnectivity of instrumentation employed on the Western Range, preferred
- Western Range operations and maintenance experience, preferred
- Experience working in a collective bargaining unit environment, preferred
- Experience with Western Range project integration, preferred
- Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures, preferred
- DoD 8570 IA certification, preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License or state issued ID

The salary range for this role is $100,805 - $ 143,584 however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
