We are building the rails to do business with the government.

GovDash is an AI company helping businesses find, win, and manage government contracts. Our platform automates business development, capture, proposal, and contract workflows end to end. This helps contractors grow faster and better serve government missions.

Our small, talent-dense team includes engineers from Google, Lockheed Martin, and CACI, along with veteran proposal managers and capture leaders. This mix of AI talent and deep GovCon expertise uniquely positions us to redefine how contractors work.

In just 12 months, GovDash has scaled to millions in ARR and become the platform of choice for contractors nationwide. We are now building an AI-first ERP for government contractors and, ultimately, the most powerful procurement platform ever created. Join us.

About the role:

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join our team and own the design, deployment, and management of container orchestration systems at scale. You’ll work across both our multitenant cloud and customer-hosted deployments, supporting high-impact government and defense projects. You’ll collaborate with engineers, security teams, and DevSecOps specialists to make our infrastructure reliable, secure, and automated.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters using Helm, Cilium, and other CNCF tools.

  • Operate and troubleshoot clusters in tightly controlled, airgapped, and regulated environments.

  • Support customers deploying GovDash in their own Kubernetes infrastructure (beyond EKS/AKS/GKE).

  • Deploy and operate stateful services in Kubernetes, including Elastic Cloud for Kubernetes and CloudNativePG.

  • Support hardened containers on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

  • Automate infrastructure with GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, policy enforcement, logging, and observability.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3–5+ years managing Kubernetes-based infrastructure in production.

  • Strong experience with Helm, Cilium, and core Kubernetes APIs.

  • Hands-on experience in airgapped or heavily firewalled networks.

  • Proven ability managing self-hosted Kubernetes clusters.

  • Experience running stateful workloads in Kubernetes (Elastic, PostgreSQL, etc.).

  • Familiarity with container networking and zero-trust principles.

  • Experience with IaC tools (Pulumi, ArgoCD, etc.).

  • Azure/AKS experience is a strong plus.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, CMMC, DoD IL5/IL6.

  • Experience with SBOMs, container scanning, and supply chain hardening.

  • Knowledge of SIEM tools (DataDog) and eBPF-based monitoring.

Engineers at GovDash today:

  • Work with React (TypeScript), Node, Next.js, Temporal, Kubernetes, and Large Language Models.

  • Embrace difficult problems with excitement.

  • Put themselves in the shoes of our users to craft great experiences.

  • Value clear, frequent communication.

  • Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design.

  • Feel a deep sense of accountability and enjoy building for the businesses we serve.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • 3–5+ years of professional experience running Kubernetes in production.

  • Experience in both cloud and self-hosted deployments.

  • A strong security mindset and familiarity with regulated environments.

  • Interest in infrastructure automation and building resilient, scalable systems.

  • Care about product ownership and solving problems for mission-critical customers.

  • Care about America and her interests (non-negotiable).
