Step into the future of manufacturing excellence at UGN Monroe in Ohio! Officially opened in September 2015 as a 232,500 square foot facility, this cutting-edge operation is a powerhouse of innovation and quality. With approximately 400 dedicated Team Members, the Monroe plant specializes in delivering top-tier acoustic insulation, carpet, and underfloor technologies to companies such as Honda, Toyota, and Subaru.
In 2018, UGN invested $50 million in the facility’s growth, adding 150,000 square feet (65%) to plant capacity. This investment further solidifies UGN Monroe’s reputation as a trusted Tier One partner in the automotive industry.

The Master Scheduler sets the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with production management to ensure delivery and inventory goals are met. Monitors EDI demand and makes manual adjustments to the schedule as needed.
What you will do for UGN:
- Coordinate MPS schedule for plant with production management to ensure delivery and inventory goals are met; coordinate bank builds as required to support engineering changes.
- Create and maintain a tool change schedule in relation to the MPS schedule; communicate to all required parties.
- Coordinate the ordering and arrival of raw materials and components to support the MPS schedule; evaluate delivery discrepancies and take required action to resolve.
- Create daily shop order packets and issue to the production floor.
- Schedule downtime for cleanup and preventative maintenance. Coordinate downtime for repairs and improvements with other departments as necessary.
- Schedule and release for all service requirements, including procuring raw material and components required to meet customer demand.
- Ensure adherence to minimum/maximum levels established for finished goods, raw materials, and purchased components to ensure compliance with inventory accuracy targets set for the department.
- Perform cycle counting on finished product per established procedures, investigating variances, and making recommendations for corrective actions to ensure compliance with inventory accuracy targets set for the department.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What you will bring to UGN:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- 2+ years related experience as a Master Scheduler or Buyer in the manufacturing industry. Automotive experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications-- Word, Excel, Outlook; and knowledge of Inventory software and Manufacturing software.
- Experience with the Oracle ERP system preferred.
- Must know Fundamental Inventory Concepts.
