Hybrid Director of National Warehouse Operations bei Little Leaf Farms LLC

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the National Director of Warehouse Operations, you will be responsible for the daily operations and efficiency of all the 

warehouses. The purpose of this position is to manage all warehouses, and distribution functions, including raw material 

and finished goods inventory management and pick / pack operations. You will be responsible for engaging your team to 

maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance performance and engagement. You will drive productivity and 

efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving. 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inbound receiving: Ensuring the right systems and processes are in place to ensure accurate inventory management of raw materials. 
2. Warehouse Operations: Direct and oversee inventory/warehouse managers at our distribution centers nationally. 
3. Order Fulfillment: Accurate pick/pack & Ship execution, Inventory management, productivity metrics, and processing returns. 
4. Work closely with the Transportation / Sales ops team to communicate in real time, providing high level of OTIF for customers  
5. Develop and monitor KPIs such as Delivery On Time, Order Error Rate, Pick Order Rate, Cycle counts, Monthly inventory count accuracy, and other performance goals and objectives to achieve production expectations and ensure accuracy and quality.  
6. Improve current ERP system usage and its application in warehouse/inventory management processes. Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives. 
7. Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates, and keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations. 
8. Direct and assign work; set performance objectives and monitor performance of all distribution centers. Monitor progress towards goals.

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

•  Must have very strong customer service orientation with a high sense of urgency in meeting objectives and deadlines. 8 – 10 years of Warehousing Experience 
•  Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of management/director experience 
•  Knowledge and experience of in-bound logistics, fulfillment & transportation operations 
•  Experience in planning, staffing, budgeting, and organizing 
•  Ability to develop effective relationships, provide leadership, and integrate diverse functions and individuals toward profitability objectives 
•  Experienced with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel 
•  Prior experience using Oracle Netsuite or similar ERP systems 
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
•  Ability to find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality 
•  Must have model leadership behaviors including the ability to defuse conflict 
•  Willingness to develop a mentoring relationship to contribute experience, skills, and wisdom to subordinate employees for their development 
•  Travel to different facilities as needed – position will be based out of our PA facility
