ROLE DESCRIPTION

We're looking for an IT Business Solutions Manager who thrives at the intersection of business processes and technology. Your mission: bring ideas to life by leading the implementation of impactful IT solutions, with a strong focus on usability, integration, and data.
• As a Business Solutions Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of effective business solutions/ERP systems to meet our organization's needs. You will collaborate with different business departments to understand their business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. By leveraging your expertise in technology, project management, and strategic thinking, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Projects from Idea to Adoption
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions—translating business needs into working systems that improve operations, workflows, or decision-making.
Bridge Business and Tech
• Understand functional needs, challenge assumptions, and co-design digital solutions with users and developers. You're the translator between business context and technical possibilities.
Get Hands-on (When Needed)
• While you’re not expected to code full-time, you should be comfortable:
o Writing or tweaking scripts (e.g. PowerShell, JavaScript, Python)
o Querying databases using SQL / designing DB schemas
o Building logic in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
Champion Smart Use of Tech
• Promote better use of existing systems (ERP, CRM, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) and help teams adopt low-code/no-code tools where appropriate.
Ensure it Works & Sticks
• Manage testing, training, and handover processes. Work with stakeholders to ensure the solution delivers real value and gets adopted by end users.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
• 3–6 years in a business-facing IT role (ERP implementation, solution delivery, or digital transformation)
• Proven experience with modern business apps (Power Platform, SharePoint, cloud SaaS solutions)
• Comfortable working with both end-users and technical teams
Skills
• Understanding of ERP architecture
• Solid understanding of SQL (queries, joins, data wrangling) and relational databases. DBA skills are not required, but you must understand schema design
• Basic scripting in at least one language (PowerShell, JS, Python, etc.)
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data flows
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, etc.)
• Strong project ownership and communication skills
• Business process analysis and change management savvy
NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in Agile environments or DevOps
• Exposure to RPA, AI tools, or enterprise systems like Dynamics 365 or SAP
• Experience with cloud services like Logic apps, Function apps, Data services, API management in Azure or analogous in AWS, Google Could Platform, etc.
• Experience is hospitality, HR, or Supply Chain
