Job Description:

  • As a Technology Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering technology architecture for a platform, product, or engagement. You will define solutions to meet performance, capability, and scalability needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Expert proficiency in Technology Architecture is required. Expert proficiency in Java Full Stack Development is recommended. Advanced proficiency in Architecture Frameworks, Expert proficiency in Applications Architecture, Expert proficiency in Architectural Design, and Advanced proficiency in Vertex Tax Solutions are suggested. Lead the development of innovative technology solutions that align with business objectives. Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and efficiency. Mentor and guide team members in best practices for technology architecture and design. Continuously assess and improve existing architecture to meet evolving business needs. Techno-Functional Lead - Tax and Treasury Role Summary: Techno-Functional Lead in the Tax and Treasury (TnT) domain, with deep experience in tax systems design and development. This is a critical role which possesses strong technical proficiency and combination of tax domain knowledge, software engineering expertise, and cloud computing skills Key Responsibilities: Lead technical design of Tax solutions across Vertex platform and custom Tax solutions. Architect and develop technical designs and solutions based on business requirements. Design, configure, and extend custom solutions for Tax Exemption and custom tax configuration solutions Ensuring tax compliance while developing strategies to optimize tax efficiency. Using engineering principles to automate tax calculations and reporting. Managing tax-related data and generating reports for audits and financial planning and ensuring data security practices. Working with tax software and integrating it with financial system like Oracle. Coordinating with finance, legal, and IT teams to ensure tax processes align with business goals. Serve as a SME and solution architect for TnT systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with standards. Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Java, including frameworks like Spring Boot for backend development. 7+ years of experience in tax systems and custom development. Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for hosting and scaling tax applications Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for storing tax-related data Designing scalable tax systems using microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Building RESTful APIs for tax data integration with external systems Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional solution delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in tax systems and custom development.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for hosting and scaling tax applications Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for storing tax related data
  • Designing scalable tax systems using microservices and containerization Docker, Kubernetes Building RESTful APIs for tax data integration with external systems
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead cross functional solution delivery.
  • Functional knowledge in client specific service operations
  • High school diploma or GED

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
