Hybrid Alumni Engagement Apprentice bei NPower Houston

NPower Houston is seeking a passionate and proactive Alumni Engagement Apprentice to support our growing network of program graduates. This 6-month apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful connections with alumni, foster community partnerships, and help graduates thrive through continued support, career advancement, and volunteer engagement.

Alumni Support & Opportunity Development

• Identify and share job placement opportunities, continuing education programs, and social support resources
• Assist alumni in pursuing certifications and professional development pathways
• Distribute information about job fairs, volunteer opportunities, and community events

Event Planning & Engagement

• Help plan and execute alumni social events and networking mixers
• Coordinate alumni participation in NPower events such as graduations, and Networking events.
• Encourage alumni to give back by volunteering in professional development sessions and mentorship programs

Data Collection & Needs Assessment

• Conduct follow-up surveys to assess alumni needs, challenges, and successes
• Analyze feedback to inform programming and support services
• Maintain accurate records of alumni engagement and outcomes

Innovation & Collaboration

• Collaborate with the Alumni Engagement Manager to brainstorm and implement creative strategies for alumni involvement
• Develop campaigns and initiatives that strengthen alumni ties to NPower
• Support the creation of alumni spotlights, newsletters, and recognition 

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for community building and workforce development
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Experience in, outreach, or customer service is a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, social media platforms
