Description
Our IT Support Specialists are responsible for providing end user support and software, hardware, and network assistance; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Essential Duties:
- Troubleshoots first level of user problems and concerns regarding systems, network, and connectivity issues; researches and resolves issues.
- Documents, creates, and verifies tickets in the Help Desk management software; tracks and monitors problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Interfaces with infrastructure and systems staff.
- Accurately communicates resolution plans, progress, and issues in a timely manner.
- Manages user account administration for network and various portals.
- Manages laptop & PC deployments for organization.
- Actively contributes to ongoing process improvement.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
- Travels onsite as needed to provide direct support using company provided vehicle.

Requirements
Education/Training: Associate’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent normally required; specialized bank education/training.
Experience providing technical support for financial institutions is preferred.
Skill(s): Must demonstrate strong communication skills; proficient interpersonal relations; proficient computer skills; strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365 Suite and banking software applications; familiarity with bank IT security practices.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ related experience normally required.
