The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant to support an Agent in our Talent Department. This role offers a front-row seat to the business of artist representation, working directly with leading executives, casting directors, and high-profile talent. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow in the entertainment industry while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs are essential.
What You’ll Do
As an Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Agent and ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and tracking appointments, auditions, self-tape requests, booking reports, and travel arrangements
- Managing phones and overseeing both agent and client calendars with accuracy and professionalism
- Submitting clients for TV and film projects and keeping detailed submission records
- Monitoring payments, expenses, and deal-related paperwork
- Acting as a point of contact with casting directors, studio/network executives, producers, and managers while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Anticipating challenges and adapting quickly in high-pressure situations
- Demonstrating strong follow-through and mastering the art of consistent communication and updates
- Staying organized and detail-oriented while managing multiple deadlines
- Proactively identifying opportunities to support clients and the Agent’s workflow
- Leveraging proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to handle reporting and administrative tasks
- Bringing a resourceful, proactive, and reliable approach to every task
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of prior experience in the entertainment industry required
- Previous agency desk experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multitask effectively
- Professionalism when handling confidential information and high-profile relationships
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university a plus
- Casting, management, or script coverage experience a plus
