Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Full Time HR Coordinator in Nashville, Tennessee.
The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining HR records, and serving as a key point of contact for staff. The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with professionalism.
- Greet visitors and employees in a professional and friendly manner, directing them to the appropriate HR team members.
- Answer and manage incoming HR calls, provide excellent customer service and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment at the HR front desk.
- Organize and maintain both electronic and physical employee records, ensuring accurate filing and data management.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of HR documents, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR files.
- Order and manage office supplies for the HR department, ensuring timely replenishment and proper inventory management.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of office materials.
- Assist with the onboarding process, help with document preparation, employee welcome materials, and other HR tasks.
- Support the HR team in the execution of HR projects and initiatives, offering administrative assistance as needed.
- Help coordinate HR-related events, training, and meetings.
- Handle sensitive HR data and information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with internal HR policies and procedures, including record retention and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field Required.
- 2+ years of HR experience required
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS/ATS experience a plus.
- Healthcare or clinical HR experience preferred.
