Manager, Overwrap
Location: Durham, NC
Schedule: 7:15pm- 7:15am
Pay & Benefits: Competitive salary + bonus eligibility + full benefits package

What You'll Do
Lead, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing, safety-focused workforce.
Plan, organize, and execute departmental goals, metrics, and production schedules.
Manage daily operations to achieve on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency.
Monitor production flow, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
Partner cross-functionally with quality, maintenance, safety, and supply chain teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, OSHA, and company safety standards.
Administer department budgets, resources, and administrative functions.
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
8+ years of experience in manufacturing or printing industry production management, with overwrap or packaging background preferred.
Previous leadership and team management experience required.
Training or knowledge in ISO, OSHA, Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen highly desirable.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
Expertise in overwrap production equipment (feeders, wrappers, conveyors, shrink wrap).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, intranet, MIS, and production reporting systems.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Strong business acumen with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
