This position manages the speech language program to ensure the highest quality of service delivery and provides direct service at multiple locations. Ensures services meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.
Essential Functions:
- Oversees and manages speech language program. Reviews services, develops new programs and enhances existing programs. Develops, maintains and implements departmental procedures.
- Liaisons with funders and service partners as point of contact for speech language services.
- Manages team members and ensures appropriate staffing levels. Interviews, hires and trains employees as needed and provides effective coaching, feedback and performance evaluations. Creates schedules and reviews staff productivity. Ensures team members are compliant in trainings/certifications and other required documentation.
- Provides speech, language, fluency, augmentative communication, and voice screens, evaluations, counseling and therapy to a caseload diverse in age and abilities.
- Utilizes appropriate technologies for service delivery and service enhancement, including EMRs, therapy-related apps, technology supported treatments/evaluations and virtual service provisions.
- Completes, maintains and monitors program documentation and ensures compliance with organizational, funder and accreditation requirements. Manages program outcomes/targets, including data collection, analysis and reports.
- Participates in annual budgeting process and ensures program operates within approved budget.
- Supervises Speech Language Pathologists in their Clinical Fellow year or students as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have master’s degree, CCC-SLP in good standing.
- Must have state license and maintain current licensure in the state(s) where practicing.
- Must have least 5 years of SLP experience.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
