Position Summary
The Director of Digital Platforms and Operations will drive the execution and optimization of our digital platforms, infrastructure, and end-user support across a growing, multi-site organization. This role is critical to scaling operations, enhancing digital capabilities, and preparing the business for future expansion.
As Director of Digital Platforms and Operations, you will lead internal teams and external service providers to deliver seamless, scalable, and user-centric technology solutions. You will champion automation, self-service tools, and platform integration to improve efficiency and empower users across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Technology Leadership
- Develop and execute a digital platform and infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Lead implementation and integration of enterprise-wide platforms with a focus on automation, scalability and user experience.
- Oversee infrastructure performance, uptime, and reliability across all locations
- Drive adoption of self-service tools and automated workflows to enhance user experience and reduce manual effort
- Manage IT operations and elevate end-user support through digital solutions
- Partner with service providers and vendors to extend capabilities and drive efficiency
Enterprise Systems Ownership
- Support all enterprise-wide business systems, including ERP, MRP, MES, CRM, business intelligence, data integrity mapping, and data management platforms.
- Ensure proper system performance, integration, and scalability to support operations, finance, sales, supply chain, and customer-facing functions.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of cybersecurity protocols across digital platforms, ensuring protection of sensitive data and operational continuity.
- Oversee compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR), including audits, risk assessments.
- Collaborate with IT and functional teams to ensure digital operations meet internal governance policies and external compliance mandates, while enabling secure innovation and scalability of digital platforms.
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Execute infrastructure design, maintenance, and reliability, including networks, servers, cloud environments, data storage, communication platforms, and physical hardware at all operating locations.
- Ensure system uptime, performance, and availability to support 24/7 manufacturing and business operations.
- Manage external vendors, service providers, and technology partners to ensure high-quality, cost-effective support.
Budget & Financial Management
- Support the development of annual budget needs for all digital platforms, infrastructure and operations.
- Develop 1-3 year investment roadmap as part of the budgeting process.
Performance Metrics
- Streamlined operations through automation and platform optimization

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in multi-site or manufacturing environments
- Deep expertise in digital platforms, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and team management
- Proven success implementing automation strategies and self-service solutions
- Experience managing service providers and vendor relationships
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
