Location: Stillwater, MN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-call required for emergencies)
Compensation: LPN - $68,000-$72,000; RN - $72,000-$75,000

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our nursing team across multiple residential mental health treatment facilities. This role is ideal for a natural leader with strong clinical knowledge, a passion for mental health care, and a commitment to providing top-quality support and supervision to nursing staff.
You will be responsible for managing nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care in collaboration with clinical, medical, and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise nursing personnel (LVNs, CMAs, medical coordinators), including scheduling, performance reviews, and training
Oversee medication management and audits, ensuring accurate documentation and safe administration practices
Monitor and improve quality of care in alignment with AMFM's standards and regulatory requirements (including HIPAA, licensing bodies, and The Joint Commission)
Provide support to multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, coordinated care
Ensure accuracy and completeness of Electronic Health Records (BestNotes) and incident reports
Maintain inventory and requisition medical supplies, medications, and documentation materials
Act as on-call support for assigned regions regarding medical issues, emergency protocols, or admissions/discharges
Facilitate infection prevention protocols and ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older
Associate’s Degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Minnesota
2+ years of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting
Prior supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting
Successful completion of all background checks (ADP, DBHDS, DSS, etc.)
Possess valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.
CPR/First Aid certification and current TB clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Familiarity with BestNotes or other EHR systems
Experience with regulatory compliance and licensing standards
Strong understanding of mental health treatment and co-occurring disorders
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
Professional demeanor with ability to handle sensitive situations with care and confidentiality
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat
Strong attention to detail in documentation and compliance-related activities
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities
