What you'll be doing:
the overall purpose of an Estimating Support Assistant is to provide inbound and outbound telephone support as well as routine administrative tasks, for branches and customers (public & trade) on the use of Project Estimator for their building projects. You will also monitor customer accounts where required.
What will I be doing in the role?
Field telephone calls and emails and ensure they are dealt with efficiently
Complete follow up calls with new and existing customers, providing support and additional services when needed
Resolve customer and colleague queries and concerns via telephone and email
Perform admin duties including updating databases / spreadsheets, notes and records on our in-house systems
Speak to customers and prospective customers; gain reviews, upgrade customers, introduce new services / products
Processing payments
Any other duties considered relevant to the role
What you'll need to have:
Essential
Confident in working in a customer service environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confident in Microsoft office particularly Excel, MS Word, Outlook
Excellent telephone manner
Able to manage own workload and work to tight deadlines and prioritise demands
A great team player
Professional, positive, friendly and helpful
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Desirable
Previous experience within an administrative role would be advantageous
Knowledge of the building trade is advantageous
Previous experience using a Customer Database
