WORK YEAR AND WORKING HOURS: School Programs Tech “C” work year; 185 days per year; 4 hours per day; 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Office Asst. “B” work year; 202 days per year; 4 hours per day; 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. SALARY: Office Asst. - Range 43: $23.14 to $28.13 per hour, in five steps. Project Office Asst. - Range 45: $24.32 to $29.56 per hour, in five steps. Requirements / Qualifications

BASIC FUNCTION: Office Asst. -Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform diversified clerical duties in support of an assigned department, program, or school office; prepare and maintain logs, files and records; review and verify the accuracy and completeness of various documents. School Programs Tech.-Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of responsible and technical clerical duties requiring specialized knowledge and independent judgment involving frequent and responsible public contact; provide for proper input and output of a variety of data. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Proof required at time of employment. Experience: Two years of responsible paid clerical experience. Computer literacy required. Must be proficient with Microsoft software, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications. Other: Bilingual/Spanish desired.
