What’s the Opportunity?
The Production Supervisor, reporting to the Production Manager, is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of print production projects, ensuring all client requirements are met efficiently and effectively. Working closely with Account Managers and vendors, this role oversees all key aspects of project delivery, from gathering requirements to final delivery, while maintaining clear and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders. The Production Supervisor is accountable for the on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution of assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
- Gather project requirements and manage all production aspects on behalf of the client, collaborating with vendors to establish delivery timetables and maintain up-to-date project status.
- Input all project specifications and relevant data into the internal procurement system, ensuring that customer quotes, purchase orders, and invoices are properly tracked and maintained.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and communication channels with vendors to ensure a smooth workflow and effective handoffs throughout the production process.
- Serve as liaison between internal and external stakeholders, agencies, and suppliers to guarantee quality results and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
- Ensure all production activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with established business processes and procedures.
- Provide high-quality customer service by delivering timely and relevant status updates to clients.
- Assist Account Managers in compiling account and project updates for key presentations, as directed.
- Escalate production issues immediately to management to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Team to investigate potential suppliers, make recommendations based on manufacturing capabilities, and drive cost efficiencies for projects or campaigns.
- Ensure achievement of SLAs and KPIs in alignment with client standards, contractual requirements, and internal goals for operational efficiency.
The Skills and Experience You Have
Qualifications:
- Production or Procurement Experience: 3-7 years of experience in production, print management, or procurement. Experience working with vendors and managing project timelines is preferred.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery.
- Systems Proficiency: Proficient in the use of procurement or project management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with data entry and tracking key project data.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in providing status updates to clients and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify issues, escalate concerns, and develop solutions that benefit both the client and the organization.
- Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and building positive client relationships.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Account Management, Sourcing, and vendors.

Salary Range for this job is $63k to $69k - The salary range provided in this job posting is an estimate based on market data and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined based on knowledge, skills, experience, location, and other relevant factors, such as certain certifications that may be desired for this role.
