Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisors (SDWMA), an affiliate of Schneider Downs, is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) specializing in investment advisory services and personal financial planning for high-net-worth individuals, as well as investment advisory service to retirement plans, including investment menu design and oversight, investment analysis, financial planning, and general education for retirement plan participants.
As the Client Service Specialist, you will be part of a learning culture that values quality and integrity, where you’ll be supported by Schneider Downs professionals and will work on a variety of client matters. The Client Service Specialist will assist high-net worth clients which requires a commitment to high-level client service and high-quality work while maintaining strict confidentiality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support advisors and assists high net worth clients with servicing requests including new account paperwork, facilitating transfers, money movements, check deposits, client portals, and various maintenance tasks
- Perform a broad range of professional and personal support duties to ensure that the office and related work are being managed timely, efficiently, and effectively
- Serve as an initial contact support for advisors and high net worth clients
- Conduct phone calls with custodians to research updates, potential issues, and resolutions with client accounts
- Utilize and maintain CRM data base with updated information and documentation
- Identify process improvements, recommends, and collaborates with other team members to help implement effective solutions
- Adhere to company security policies and maintains confidentiality of client records and information
- Handle special projects, initiatives and priorities as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of three years experience in a professional environment required
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients, whether as part of a wealth management firm, RIA or private family office
Preferred:
- Experience with CRMs (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) and portfolio management platforms (e.g., Orion, Tamarac)
Other:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
