Your role as a Building Trades Project Manager

As a new Building Trades Project Manager at RQ Construction, LLC, you will be responsible for overseeing daily construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Your role will involve managing project schedules, communicating with stakeholders, and problem-solving to address any issues that may arise on site. You will also be in charge of ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards, while upholding the company's values of integrity and innovation. This position will provide you with valuable experience in the building trades industry and the opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive and dynamic team environment.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Ability to manage multiple Building Trades projects simultaneously
  • Leadership, and management of teams
  • Maintaining costs and adhering to budget
  • Monitoring schedules and forecasts
  • Managing various subcontractors

Qualifications Include:

  • A BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is the minimum formal education required for this position. A combination of equivalent work experience and training in the field may be qualifying.
  • Two or more years of experience in commercial project management required. Building trades preferred.
  • Six or more yeard or equivalent work experience as a Project Engineer and APM (or equivalent) in the construction industry required. Work experience in the design/build industry preferred.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Specific Software preferred (Primavera, Oracle, Autodesk Build, BIM, Revit)
  • LEED GA Credential or AP/AP+ preferred.
