Founded in 1948 by John Pridgeon and Donald Clay, we are one of the largest independent, value-added manufacturers and suppliers of automotive stamped and fine-blanked components in the United States.

Objective: Crib Attendant is responsible for the receipt, storage, processing, issuance, delivery of materials needed to support functions of the facility.

Qualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:

  • A High school Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of mechanical and industrial parts / products
  • 6 months of related experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Proficiency with Personal computers, Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word and Excel), EAM software experience is a plus
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and collaboration skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional professional attributes that include self-motivation, dependability, and confidentiality
  • The ability to build effective work relationships
  • An excellent work record, including attendance
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • The ability to stand, walk, and bend
  • The ability to climb stairs

Essential Functions:

Standard Work:

  • Follows appropriate safety procedures
  • Issues personal protective equipment
  • Picking orders to customer demands including orders for vending machine stocking
  • Assists customers with finding the correct or needed product, forwarding any necessary updates to Supervisor - Central Stores.
  • Receiving and check-in deliveries from various vendors, accurately verifying transactions and stocking inventory in correct locations
  • Prepares materials for stocking
  • Maintains inventory, stock and issue requests
  • Conducts cycle counts
  • Keeps crib area organized
  • May deliver tools, packages or equipment to workers.
  • Maintain a clean and neat work environment in your area of responsibility
  • Participate in, and support lean initiatives such as continuous improvement evens and problem solving events, identifying and eliminating all types of waste. Document cost savings, consolidate processes, and eliminate unnecessary operations.
  • Any other activity assigned by Supervisor - Central Stores
