As our Assistant Director of Finance, you’ll play a key role in guiding the property toward its revenue goals through smart, long-term financial strategies. You understand that exceptional service drives financial success, and you work closely with operations and other departments to ensure they have the tools, resources, and support needed to exceed guest expectations. With a strong sense of ownership and pride in your work, you’ll oversee essential finance responsibilities while contributing to the overall success of the property.
Requested Tasks
- Oversee the overall accounting and financial management
- Provide strategic and supported financial insights related to a variety of projects and endeavors
- Prepare and review annual budgets, monthly forecasts and financial operations
- Oversee the internal financial system (Vena)
- Manage, hire and mentor Financial and Data team
Requested Capabilities
- Prior experience as an Assistant Director of Finance required; preferably from a hotel or hospitality group
- Prior experience in management
- Experience working with multi-entity/shared services forecasts/budgets; experience in the hotel/restaurant/hospitality industry a unique plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Prior experience with a large-scale FP+A software (Vena experience highly preferred)
