Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Drees Homes is seeking candidates for the position of Production Resource Coordinator for our Division in Indianapolis, IN.

 

As a Production Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing all divisional prints, plan studies and facilitating the contract to start process.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Permit processing including submittal of application, coordination of payments and monitoring the status
  • Create a process to follow for each municipality's permitting requirements
  • Monitor trade licenses with utility companies
  • Review architecture prints to identify errors
  • Execute vendor changes and purchase order revisions
  • Attend slotting meetings and update slotting board
  • Track progress and maintain logs, Drees systems and JDE
  • Orient new trades to DreesTeam program and schedule trade partner orientations
  • Produce various reports related to the starts and permitting process

 Requirements Include:

  • Working with municipalities or in the residential permitting field preferred but required
  • Experience in new home construction industry preferred but not required
  • Strong computer skills, should be efficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Organized and able to multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Team player who enjoys problem solving
  • College degree in related field a plus

The schedule of this position will be Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary.
