Responsibilities/Qualifications:Drees Homes is seeking candidates for the position of Production Resource Coordinator for our Division in Indianapolis, IN.
As a Production Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing all divisional prints, plan studies and facilitating the contract to start process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Permit processing including submittal of application, coordination of payments and monitoring the status
- Create a process to follow for each municipality's permitting requirements
- Monitor trade licenses with utility companies
- Review architecture prints to identify errors
- Execute vendor changes and purchase order revisions
- Attend slotting meetings and update slotting board
- Track progress and maintain logs, Drees systems and JDE
- Orient new trades to DreesTeam program and schedule trade partner orientations
- Produce various reports related to the starts and permitting process
Requirements Include:
- Working with municipalities or in the residential permitting field preferred but required
- Experience in new home construction industry preferred but not required
- Strong computer skills, should be efficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Organized and able to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Team player who enjoys problem solving
- College degree in related field a plus

The schedule of this position will be Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary.
