Venn is looking for a full-time employee who has an interest in coordinating special events. This includes conferences and large-scale fly-ins (political events). Experience in coordinating corporate fly-ins, association annual meetings, etc. is a plus. We host a high number of events (internal and external), ranging from small receptions to large multi-day conferences, so multitasking, prioritizing and attention to detail are all must-have skills. The role assists with planning and coordinating advocacy-related programs and activities. The Programs & Events Associate will be responsible for providing the team with logistical and administrative support which includes onsite event support, scheduling and calendar management on a mass scale, vendor and/or event specific research, compiling programs, managing budgets, creating agendas, extensive follow-up and assisting with graphic design projects (a plus, not required). Other duties and assignments may be given as the person in this role grows professionally or as needed.
