Position Overview   

Our Distribution Center is the backbone of Kendra Scott, and we are looking for a process-driven individual to step into an exciting, fast-paced role. Reporting to the Fulfillment Operations Manager, the Fulfillment Operations Specialist supports the team by owning the technical and systemic aspects of fulfillment. This position is a data and analytics-based role, which provides oversight and disbursement of all orders in Wholesale, Retail and Marketing Channels.

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Wave orders and efficiently distribute workload across accounts to floor operations by considering order type, priority level, and fulfillment deadlines to optimize processing and ensure timely order completion.
  • Monitor order progress closely and proactively resolve errors as needed to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Provide end-of-day fulfillment progress updates to the Fulfillment Operations Manager, highlighting key metrics, complete orders, and/or any outstanding issues.
  • Collaborate with outbound leadership to develop and refine daily and weekly workload execution plans, making real-time adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and meet fulfillment goals.
  • Strive to deliver WOW customer service by ensuring accurate fulfillment of orders requiring special handling or additional oversight.
  • Support accounts by processing sample fulfillment requests, including order placement, tracking, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer expectations.
  • Assist in testing and implementing software enhancements as needed to improve operational efficiency and fulfillment processes.
  • Support Retail, Wholesale, and Marketing teams by addressing order inquiries and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth and efficient fulfillment operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding new initiatives, product launches, and business relationships to protect sensitive information and strategic plans.
  • Maintain accurate data and logs that directly support incoming workload and outbound fulfillment.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities: 
  • Ability to collaborate and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders 
  • Recommend process improvements on existing process(es) and provide potential solutions 
  • Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish a shared goal  
  • Proficiency in relevant computer systems (SAP, ERP, Microsoft Suite (excel, PowerPoint) Outlook) 
  • Process transactional data accurately
  • Proficient written, verbal, and professional communication 


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of 1-2 years in an administrative fulfillment position
  • A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office in particular) 
  • Organizational and time management skills 
  • Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
